I am a Political Economist teaching at Glasgow Caledonian University
My major stream of work in recent years has been shared with my political scientist colleague David Donald. It covers issues of political economy widely including regulation, ideology, and—the focus of this site—learning and teaching about the nature and causes of the wealth of nations.
The nature and socio-economic causes of human welfare; privatisation and public regulation of business; the Scottish Political Economy Tradition; ideology and economics; pedagogy in higher education.
